Monday night they advertise $2.22 PBR and Miller Highlife tall boys. Tonight they had a large party, yet only 1 bartender. After a 10 minute wait at the bar, they don’t have any of the beer they advertise on special.

We had a great experience with after hours bowling. Nice atmosphere good price, great food. The fries are a favorite with my family.

Overall, I'm giving only a 3 star rating because their customer service tonight was lousy. I have no problems with policies being enforced IF THEY'RE POSTED SOMEWHERE. No one could or was willing to point me to this supposed time limit on the Unlimited bowling. It's been my experience that such issues usually point to one of two things: a business that doesn't value its customers and is prone to underhand inconveniences and passive theft OR management where each manager has their own way of running things and so you can expect no consistency in their policies unless you choose to learn the managers' schedules and only attend when certain managers are on shift.

(1) Food/Beverages - you can choose to pay after you bowl, which basically means a tab. Apparently if you want to also put food or refreshments on that tab you have to either deal with concessions AND check in or open a second tab at concessions. Really? That can't be streamlined? Fine. Annoying, but not a deal breaker since I usually only get a drink and am ready to leave about the time I'm done with it.

We had a great time here. The entire staff was very helpful and attentive to our needs. The front desk staff took their time helping us pick out the right size shoes for the kids. The area was also clean and tidy.

(3) This one is a nitpicky personal preference, not something I'm actually deducting stars for: the lanes are really oily. Now, I haven't bowled in a good long while, so maybe that's the new normal and I just don't know it. I'll acknowledge that it's a very clean oil, not gritty and not terribly thick. Not something I enjoy (though too dry would be just as bad), so just something to keep in mind.

(2) Unlimited, which says "8pm to Close" on the posting at check in/check out as well as on their website, apparently doesn't mean 8pm to close. They turned off my lane with 2 frames left in the game at 10:30 (30 minutes before close) and were not inclined to let me finish even though they knew I didn't want to bowl another game after I finished the one I was currently bowling. How did they know I was almost done? The mumbling cashier came out to the lane about 10 minutes before that to let me know they wanted to close out my tab since it was getting close to closing; I let him know then that I was fine with that and had no intention of starting another game or making more purchases at concessions or anything. When I came up to check in to straighten out the "two frames left" issue, the mumbling cashier said that the Unlimited Monday deal is only good for 1.5-2 hours (he was unsure specifically which) and that my time was up. Supposedly there was some kind of timer supposed to be in the corner of the screen? I never saw it. The manager who came out said nothing at all. She did, however, take payment and reopen my lane so I could (disgustedly) finish my last two frames.

I went tonight (Monday) because they were running a special: Unlimited bowling (including shoe rental) for $12.09. I'm just getting back to bowling after a long hiatus, so this seemed a good deal to find out how rusty I am. Well, the bowling was fine the policies were a bit of annoying B.S.

As convenient as this location is to me, I'm likely to drive to another town instead of spending money at a place that does this. I drive thousands of miles a year already for work. It's nothing for me to drive an hour or more to go somewhere that actually values its customers and doesn't make that kind of B.S. a habit. I'll give them one or two more chances (and pay attention to on-duty managers when I do) before deciding, but I'm not gonna hold my breath on them, either.

Very nice crew and took good care of us. Had a great time.
