The remodel of the theater is amazing. Most comfortable recliners, super clean floor. However, I am 'old school', I did not like having to wait in one line for tickets and concessions. Understandably The food costs are high, and therefore if purchasing food and drink, it may take a little more time to pick out what you what to eat. And I do not think you should have to own a smart phone to purchase tickets, or reserve seating. I think there should be a 'quick line' for tix only, no concessions. That's why I gave it 4 stars.
My sister and I go every Tuesday. We are Stub Members so we get discounted prices. AMC has mad it affordable again to go to the movies! There is a seperate line if you are Stubs members and this line has always been shorter. It is well worth the $15.00 price! We have saved much more than that by joining. The place is clean. Staff has always been nice. Reclining seats have made it very comfortable. Its the highlight of my week! Thanks AMC!
Pros: great comfy seats, newly remodeled
I have been going to this theatre since I was a little kid. I watched it get built. Be good. Slide down hill. Become the 'old theatre' and now after renovation I don't even think of going to the 'new theatre'. This one is still the old theatre in my mind but after the recent renovations it is awesome. They made the smart choice and ripped out all their old dingy sitting and replaced it with brand new electric pleather recliners. It's super comfy and the tickets are still cheaper than the other theatre. Love this place!
Pro/Con: They have a kiosk to buy tickets now. You get to assign your own seat, however naturally you feel like the line closest to you is the front and the furthest is the back, so we picked the back seat, which when you get in the theater is the very front seat so our necks kind of hurt from looking straight up. But if you take a minute to look at the kiosk it does say where the screen is, we just felt rushed because there was a line behind us, but I'm sure if we had the extra minute we could have picked the correct seats.
Cons: 5 dollars for a bottle of Dasani water, biggest rip off by far
The theater features reclining seats, which means that there are fewer seats in each theater. However, they are super comfortable, and it makes for a fun way to watch a movie. One thing that I do not like is having one line for tickets and concessions. I'm not sure that it makes things more efficient.
