I really wish that the advertised beer was on the menu here. Sam Adams is up on the wall but all you serve are the seasonals. Guess I will have to find a new place to go when I can afford a night out. Yes there are only a few beers I like and now you have NONE of them on your list. Time to start going to the Carolina Ale House.
As a restaurant owner myself, I'm always just wanting to go out and have some one cook for me. This is the first time at this particular location but frequent the Roadhouse in Jacksonville often. Server was friendly and efficient. Hostesses were blah on enthusiasm it was only 530p. Typically, we would be asked if we wanted to pick out a steak from the case but this was not the case. When I stopped at the meat case, the hostess casually said, "oh yeah, do you wanna pick out a steak?" When I looked at her with a question on my face she relied that I didn't look like I could eat a big steak.
Bread portions were very small. Still tasty just smaller than normal. Bathroom (women's) was filthy. Again it was early evening, so not quite understanding what happened in the hour and half they were opened.
My server was so nice I wanted to give her every dollar in my pocket. Very nice smile and checked on me frequently! She deserves a raise! I always enjoy Texas Road House and when I Don't, it's because I get full too quick!
Also, it was clearly marked Gift Card season but no one offered to try to sell us one. No one offered margarita or cowboy punch. No manager stopped at our table to see if things were good. Food was good and cooked to order just disappointed that not all Texas Roadhouse serve the same quality.
During lunch and dinner they are very busy yes, but they always work to get everyone seated quickly. Great service and great food. Been here multiple times with no issues!
Take wad nice and ready to receive except both of our knives were dirty. I understand that mistakes happen but for both sets to be dirty? The people rolling the flatware should be the 2nd eye on that.
Again I am afraid I must give this restaurant a mediocre rating for food . My daughter and I had a " daddy--daughter date " and she chose Texas Roadhouse because she wanted a steak. The problem is , as it was the last time my family went there , the burger and fries I had were WAY too salty ! The last time it was the fries and almost the entire burger . This time it was the fries but only about half of the burger. Now if you knew me you would know how much I like salt ( my wife says too much ) so this kind of tells you how salty they must have been . My daughter said her steak was very good , as both her and my wife said the last time we went. I would also like to say how good the waitresses have been each time. No problem there. You may ask if the burger and fries we so salty the last time you went , why didn't you choose something else ? To that I would reply --- I shouldn't have too !
