My daughter was going to Winterville Charter Academy until December, 2016, while she was in her Kindergarten year. She cried because she had to go to school everyday. She was not able to read, write or really comprehend things other children could. After 2 weeks at Elmhurst, she was able to read, write and do things she never would have been able to accomplish at the other school. Mrs. Riddick and Mrs. Butler were life savers! Now, she loves school, is where she needs to be academically, and is a happy girl. She has a great teacher again this year, Mrs. Knight. Keep up the great work Elmhurst!!
