Actually this place cares a lot from what I see. I have major anxiety and depression. They got me in quick and got me set up with a primary care physicians, a therapist and a psychiatrist promptly. I have been going here 3 months now and it has saved my life, my job and helps me to live a normal life. The emergency rooms do little for psychiatric care and doctors don't manage mental health well. They do require a piss test to see if you are actually taking the meds and aren't an abuser. I love it and guess what I'm not rich or privileged. They help TONS of people every day and no one I see when I go there has anything negative to say about these people. If it wasn't for port health people like me would be lost.
This place is supposed to help right? Qrong, they Dont care about anyone who goes here if you aren't the right color or can't pay or have great insurance they couldn't care less...
If you need constant weekly care this isn’t it but this place IS EXCELLENT TO SAVE YOUR LIFE IN CRISIS AND GET YOU ON THE PATH TO HELP. They establish care for you that otherwise takes months. But if you need quality one one time therapy get a referral from them. Psychiatric help is the best around.
Also don’t get meds filled at their in house pharmacy. Only reason I say this is if you run out on a weekend you can’t get anything filled. Get them to transfer meds to cvs or something.
